In reply to justice06rr. Agreed, I'm sure that just about any good, modern .40 will fire 9mm. But this story happened to me, so it's special. :)

Good story. But many other pistols will fire 9mm in a 40 chamber/barrel. I did it by mistake on my XD40 loading it with 9mm that somehow mixed by mistake in my ammo box. What I’m saying is that Glock is not that special in that sense.

Now if you try to fire a .40 in a 9mm pistol it might be a different story.

Heh, heh, it was a gut buster to watch their red faces. I confess I was a bit smug, since I’d taken to heart the reason we have two ears and one mouth. They talked through the lecture on proper car to car conversations. Luckily for them, this was before the era of cell phone cameras and viral videos. 🙂
My personal waterloo was a demon possessed zipper that unpredictably liked to unzip right before court hearings. I am eternally thankful for long shirt tails and kindly ladies in the court clerk’s office that discreetly saved me from really public humiliation! 😀 It’s really hard to be taken seriously with an open fly! lol Still hate polyester zipper pants to this day! 😉

Yup, if I had thrown a fit about the mistake I made I would have really made myself look bad in front of those guys.
